History of
NACORE International Inc. NACORE International is a professional association. It was
originally founded in Miami in 1969 as NALAN (National Association of Location Analysts)
by Joseph R. Bagby MCR and Martha G. Bagby as a means for corporate executives to share
real estate questions and solutions. The organization was incorporated in 1974 in the
state of Florida and renamed National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives
(NACORE). In 1988, with members worldwide, it became NACORE International Inc.
The association's membership is comprised of more than
3,600 professionals. The Regular members are responsible for developing facilities and
managing real estate assets for corporations whose primary business is not real estate.
The real estate they acquire and manage is primarily for their companies' own use and
generally not for speculative purposes. Associate members provide services and expertise
for the management of corporate real estate. In recent years Regular and Associate members
have forged strong professional relationships to further corporate goals. Members are
organized in 43 chapters in the United States, Canada and Europe as well as "at
large" members in other parts of the world.>
